Another successful year in the barrel as they say.  We are happy to report 2017’s Harvest is now over and from preliminary tastings this year’s grapes promise to develop into another fine vintage under the direction of our veteran winemaker, Jeff Fink.   

Over the past 5 years we have sourced grapes from some of the best Central Coast Vineyards like Sanford & Benedict, Dierberg, Sierra Madre and one of our best kept secrets Quinta del Mar.  Our outlook is to continue our relationship with these fine vineyards and look forward to producing more of our Aether Brand Pinot Noir and Chardonnay for our family, friends and consumers for years to come.  

Another great development we are excited and proud to share with you and one that will be published in December’s Wine Enthusiast Magazine are the tasting results of our 2014 vintage. And now {drum roll} here are the scores.

2014 Matrix Pinot Noir – 95 pts.

2014 Sanford & Benedict Pinot Noir – 94 pts.

2014 Sierra Madre Chardonnay – 94 pts. ***Editor’s Choice

2014 Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir – 93 pts.

We are humbled (but not surprised) that our wines were so well accepted and given such tremendous ratings by the Wine Enthusiast. It is really a testament to the hard work and time that Jeff takes in producing a product that meets not only his high standards but delivers for those who enjoy a wonderfully, well-made bottle of wine.
